Role 

10Pearls is seeking a Senior Manager – OMW (Middleware) to lead the design, development, and production support of enterprise integration solutions using IBM App Connect Enterprise and IBM MQ. 
In this role, you will drive middleware strategy, promote microservices and API-led architecture, and lead a small team in delivering scalable, high-performance integration solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system integrations and reliable production support. 

Responsibilities 

• Design, develop, and maintain message flows using IBM App Connect Enterprise (IIB) 
• Implement message transformation, mapping, enrichment, and routing mechanisms 
• Manage and optimize IBM MQ, including clustering and distributed queuing 
• Drive adoption of microservices architecture and API-led integrations 
• Ensure system scalability, high availability, and optimal performance 
• Troubleshoot and resolve memory, CPU, and performance issues in middleware environments 
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to manage timelines, dependencies, and deliverables 
• Promote Agile engineering practices and ensure adherence to best practices 
• Support incident, problem, and change management processes across production systems 
• Work closely with Product Owners to identify and mitigate delivery risks 
• Contribute to technical decision-making and framework establishment 

Requirements 

• 8+ years of experience in middleware or integration platforms 
• Strong hands-on experience with IBM App Connect Enterprise (IIB) and IBM MQ 
• Solid understanding of message transformation, routing, and integration patterns 
• Knowledge of SOAP, JSON, JMS, and web services security (WSS) 
• Experience with tools like SOAPUI, Postman, or similar testing tools 
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills 
• Experience with Splunk and log analysis 
• Good understanding of cloud concepts and DevOps practices 
• Hands-on experience with operating systems such as AIX and Linux 
• Ability to work effectively in Agile and cross-functional environments 

Nice to Have 

• Experience with microservices and API gateway implementations 
• Exposure to banking or financial services domain 
• Strong understanding of security, audit, and compliance frameworks 
• Experience in vendor management and cost optimization 
• Leadership experience managing and mentoring small technical teams 
• Familiarity with performance tuning and high-volume transaction systems
