Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Develop high-performing REST & GraphQL APIs for application functionality.
- Maintain and enhance scalable server architecture.
- Create automation scripts to streamline manual tasks.
- Write clear, well-documented, and maintainable code.
- Conduct code reviews, perform unit testing, and actively contribute to software development and maintenance.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in application development.
- Proficiency with Python, Django, and Flask frameworks.
- Familiarity with jQuery and JavaScript.
- Experience in front-end technologies such as AngularJS, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Knowledge of Object Relational Mapper (ORM) libraries.
- Proficiency in database principles including SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB).
- Familiarity with RabbitMQ/Kafka and Celery for task queueing and asynchronous processing.
- Experience with Agile development practices.
- Proficient use of version control systems like GitHub, GitLab, and SVN.
Preferred Qualifications (Good to have)
- Understanding of ELK Stack fundamentals, including installation and configuration of ELK clusters.
- Knowledge of Elasticsearch concepts including index patterns, shards, and replicas.
- Familiarity with Logstash configuration and building custom visualizations in Kibana.
- Understanding of Beats (Filebeat, Metricbeat, Heartbeat).
- Experience with pandas, NumPy, and implementation of machine learning algorithms in Python.
Zscaler’s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.
