Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to a team of Java backend developers.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
• Drive the team towards meeting project deadlines and milestones.
• Oversee the design and implementation of Java-based backend solutions.
• Ensure the team adheres to best practices in coding, testing, and documentation.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to continually enhance the team's technical capabilities.
• Collaborate with product managers and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Implement and promote Agile methodologies to enhance project efficiency.
• Utilize expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, SaaS, and GCP to drive the development of scalable and reliable backend systems.
• Work with databases (e.g., SQL, NoSQL) to design and optimize data storage solutions.
• Implement and enforce code review processes to maintain code quality.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership role with a strong background in Java backend development.
• At least 5 years of experience in Java appilcations
• Proven experience with technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, SaaS, GCP, and various databases.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve project goals.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound technical decisions.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
