What you can expect

On this team you will be a key contributor to long-term strategy and architecture for interoperability of Zoom’s Big Data and Machine Learning Platforms. You will partner with others to support our quality, performance, scalability, reliability, availability, and security goals too.

This role is exciting because you will work collaboratively and communicate effectively with engineering, data science and analytics teams globally. You will be responsible for the design, and will lead implementation of complete distributed systems to meet all business needs.

About the Team

As Zoom grows and expands, so do the data science and machine learning pipelines. By joining the Machine Learning Platform team at Zoom, you will help to design and build model serving infrastructure and services. These augment capabilities for real-time, streaming, and batch inferencing in support of machine learning model pipelines.

What we’re looking for

• Experience working with leading data infrastructure technologies such as datastores (SQL/NoSQL dbs) and data streaming/processing (ie. Flink, Spark, Kafka, Airflow, AWS SageMaker)

• Have authority in platform technology, architectural designs and software engineering fundamentals (Python, Java, or similar languages)

• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP), Terraform

• Experience with reliability engineering specifically in areas such as data quality, data observability and incident management

• Show excellent problem solving and analytical thinking skills

Salary Range or On Target Earnings:

Minimum:

$122,200.00

Maximum:

$244,500.00
