Senior Electrical Engineer

Who We Are:

Zendar is creating a high-resolution radar imaging system that has resolution similar to lidar, allowing cars to see in inclement weather. We want to change the role of radar in the Advanced driving assist (ADAS) sensor stack and demonstrate that radars can take on many of the functions of lidar at a much lower cost and in all weather conditions. Zendar's technology fuses data streams from multiple sensors to build a more accurate scene and utilizes machine learning to predict likely environmental scenarios and provide situational awareness. All of this works in an embedded AI processor with tight latency and performance guarantees to deliver reliable sensing and perception.

We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join a growing team of electrical, mechanical, and firmware engineers to design and deliver our radar systems hardware for automotive and agriculture markets.

In this role you will be responsible for developing radar heads and radar system prototypes. You will work closely with mechanical and firmware engineers to design and deliver your products. Furthermore, you will support the development of our cutting edge technology by providing and enabling the necessary hardware features to the system.

What we look for:

• 3+ years experience in electronics
• Ability to do firmware modifications on embedded systems
• Previous experience in design and bring up of PCBs
• Proven ability to work independently on developing sophisticated electronics systems

Bonus Points:

• Experience with radar, lidar, cameras, GPS/IMU, or other automotive sensors
• Experience with C/C++
• Experience with Python
• Experience using Altium Designer
