Senior Software Engineer (Frontend)

We are seeking a talnt ted Software Engineer, fluent in our technology stack who wants to help build a scalable system.

Our ideal candidate is a Senior Software Engineer (5+ years) Frontend engineer with experience building scalable production applications, working with large data sets, and owning the entire development lifecycle. You will need to be a team player while collaborating closely with our product managers to enhance our mature, complex product. You will get to work with React, Python, AWS, among other technologies. Your Responsibilities:

• Write easily maintainable, extendable, and understandable code that adheres to software engineering design principles.
• Developing new full-stack features to improve our products.
• Supporting and enhancing current systems.
• Debugging and optimizing code.
• Supporting and development of comprehensive documentation and tests.
• Building tooling to improve our operational efficiency.
• Mentoring others on the established practices and patterns used by the team.
• Developing the frontend experience using React and Redux.
• Creating and maintaining our Frontend architecture.
• Planning and maintaining a product long term.
• Performing code reviews.
• Collaborating with product to deliver on the roadmap.

About You:

• Knowledge of development best practices (agile methodologies, code reviews, JavaScript testing frameworks).
• Strong experience in front-end architecture and design.
• Deep understanding of system design, data structures, and algorithms.
• 5+ years of experience developing production apps using React and Typescript.
• Experience with styles and animations using CSS.
• Experience using GIT, JIRA, build systems (Webpack).
• Knowledge of API architecture development.
• Experience developing and deploying a product in a production environment (product lifecycle, sticking to release schedules, etc.).
