Machine Learning Engineering Team Lead

Yotpo is looking for a Machine Learning Engineering Team Leader to join our Data Science Group. We are a fast-growing company that is building a multi-product platform for eCommerce brands, and Data Science is at the heart of Yotpo’s innovative solutions. Our team works on fundamental challenges within the eCommerce space which span a variety of domains, such as  Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Reinforcement Learning, NLP, Computer Vision, Recommendation Systems and more.

You’ll be:

• Leading a team of ML engineers within our Data Science group.
• Lead the entire software lifecycle of various AI-based solutions for Yotpo’s eCommerce marketing products while taking ownership of our entire production environment.
• Collaborate with our research team to design & develop AI-based solutions in different domains - ML, DL, RL, NLP, CV, Gen. AI, RecSys.
• Mentor and coach team members, providing guidance on technical challenges and career development.
• Lead by example, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.

Your experience:

• B.Sc. in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
• 2+ years of experience as a team leader.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in ML engineering, Big Data engineering or MLOps.
• 2+ years of experience of writing python code using machine learning frameworks like PyTorch, Tensorflow or scikit-learn.
• Strong academic background in machine learning, algorithm design and system design.
• Experience with big data cloud platforms and frameworks (e.g., AWS, Spark).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Advantages:

• Advanced degree in Computer Science (M.Sc., Ph.D.).
• Experience leading large-scale solutions based on ML, NLP, DL, RL, CV or recommendation systems in a production environment.
