Frontend Infra Engineer

Frontend Infra team empowers product teams with a frontend ecosystem and improves the developer experience and developer velocity. 

How do we do that? 

By tackling it from different angles: 

• Understanding frontend development pain points. 

• Identifying similar features across product teams.

• Partnering with product teams to encourage adoption. 

• Enforcing frontend best practices.

• Improve the end-user experience and optimise client-side performance.

We are looking for an additional team member to join our mission. You will:  

• Have full ownership of your projects. Gather requirements, create a plan, and be part of the execution. 

• Implement features in Yotpo’s critical and strategic path.

• Experiment with different frontend libraries and incorporate them into an infrastructure.

• Code mostly with Javascript but not bound to a specific library or a framework such as Angular, React, Vue, and Lit (web components)

• Ensuring our code is of the highest quality by practicing and evangelizing engineering best practices

What you will bring to the table?

• Minimum of 3 years of frontend development using any modern library/framework.

• Deep architectural understanding of web applications.

• Creative and innovative problem-solving skills.

• Experience with frontend tools such as Bable, Webpack, NPM etc.

• A passion for frontend development and always seeking opportunities to expand your knowledge.

• End-to-end testing with Cypress or similar

• “Can Do” attitude, a true team player, and with a developer experience mindset.

It's nice to have (but not mandatory)

• Knowledge of web performance: tools, optimisations, architecture.

• Experience with Micro frontends concept and module federation
