Workday is looking for talented and passionate software engineers to support developers extend Workday's capabilities via Workday Cloud Platform. We have an immediate opening in the WCP Presentation team in Atlanta, GA. We are responsible for building presentation (UI) micro services that enable customers and partners to build meta-data driven, REST-based applications that re-purpose existing Workday user interface technologies.

About the Role

• Collaborate with peers, product owners, and designers to design, build, test, and deliver high-quality software to our quickly growing developer community.

• Write clear, efficient, and scalable code with an eye towards maintainability.

• Participate in design and code reviews.

• Discover and take on issues with existing architecture and code.

• Support the release planning by understanding the details (effort, risk, priority) of the planned features in an agile environment.

• Own and contribute to team productivity/process improvements.

About You

Basic Qualifications: Sr. Associate, Software Development Engineer

• 2 Years of proficiency in one or more of the following programming languages: Java, Spring, Kotlin.

• 2 Years of demonstrated ability with cloud providers like AWS/GCP and have an understanding of Kubernetes.

Basic Qualifications: Software Development Engineer

• 4+ Years' of proficiency in one or more of the following programming languages: Java, Spring, Kotlin.

• 4+ Years of demonstrated ability with cloud providers like AWS/GCP and have an understanding of Kubernetes.

Other Qualifications:

• A demonstrable record of taking design ideas to working software.

• Knowledge of common design patterns and when to use them.

• Proficiency with major development tools and processes such as IDEs, revision control, and continuous delivery.

• Ability to deliver on time working in a fast-paced agile environment.

• Ability to work with product managers to clarify and prune requirements.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related fields and 4 years proven experience

Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below.  Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $140,000 USD - $210,000 USD

 

Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $117,800 USD - $210,000 USD
