About the Team

The Configurable Security team in Workday Security Products organization is dedicated to building a secure, scalable, high-performant access management platform!

About the Role

Work in a multidisciplinary team delivering core and critical features for Workday. Independently implement features and prototypes, including providing detailed design. Deliver reliable software through continuous integration, automated testing, and in-depth code reviews. Work on an Agile Scrum team that delivers on shared commitments.

About You

Basic Qualifications

Sr Associate Software Development Engineer 

• 2+ years of experience in software engineering

• Proficiency in object-oriented design and programming with Java 

• Experience contributing to or leading test strategy for large-scale software applications
   

Software Development Engineer 

• 5+ years of proven experience with software development

• Proficiency in object-oriented design and programming with Java

• Experience contributing to or leading test strategy for large-scale software applications

• Experience with testing APIs through tools such as POSTMAN, CURL, or SoapUI

Other Qualifications

• Experience with test automation frameworks such as Cucumber, Selenium, Mockito, etc.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, tools like Bamboo or Jenkins and code revision tools like Git and Bitbucket

• Experience with Java build tools such as Ant, Maven, Gerrit, Gradle, etc.

• Knowledge and experience working in authentication and authorization areas such as OAuth, SSO, x509, JWT, Identity and Access Management (IAM). 

• Experience of full life-cycle software engineering practices including coding standards, testing, code reviews, source control management, and operations
