About the Role

Workday Cloud Platform is looking for an expert community manager who enjoys building relationships with software engineering communities, while encouraging growth and advocacy. This role involves diligent and socially responsible individuals who are passionate about crafting and growing lasting relationships with key community members.

About You

Responsibilities

• Set and implement social media and communication campaigns to align with developer program strategies

• Respond to comments and customer queries in a timely manner

• Work closely with our Developer Relations team to find opportunities to expand our reach with the community and encourage participation

• Able to acquire feedback and capture ideas from the community through real conversations

• Ability to identify and supervise relevant community metrics (e.g. number of responses to post, trends and adaptable engagement)

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years proven experience leading developer focused communities

• 4+ years encouraging and forming relationships at scale, both in-person and online, with technical audiences

• Passionate about developer communities and a hardworking learner

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Other Qualifications

• Technical developer community management experience and supporting a forum is a plus

• Experience in project and program management

• Appreciation for engineers and developers, regardless of skill level

• Experience with leading and scaling community programs, platforms, and tools

• Regularly interact with developers to understand what types of experiences are valuable to them, and that best serve them in their day-to-day efforts

• Encourage user-generated content

• Champion a safe and inclusive environment

Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below.  Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $108,700 USD - $163,100 USD

 

Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $84,600 USD - $163,100 USD
