At Wizeline we are looking to expand our Salesforce practice by adding various levels of Salesforce developers ranging from intermediate to expert levels. We are looking for Salesforce Developers who are well organized and communicative to join our Salesforce growing practice. The best candidates have an outgoing and curious personality that will help the team to build a strong relationship with our clients.

The Salesforce Developer will be joining the Wizeline Salesforce Practice as a team member who loves to learn new things and is able to deal with frequent changes to requirements. 

The expectation is the Wizeline practice will grow significantly over time. 

The Salesforce Developer is a self-motivated person who will work on client projects and engagements for a variable length of time and loves to learn new things.

The project will be using Salesforce managed packages to deploy applications developed internally by the project. Additional benefits if you have an understanding of various call center capabilities like automated Dialers.

Your Day-to-Day Activities

As a Salesforce Developer at Wizeline, you will support the following activities: 

  • Following a product roadmap towards key milestones.
  • Prioritize, evaluate and develop features.
  • Implement solution: develop use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Critical Thinking: ability to lead to answers for the increasingly large problem and product areas, with corresponding internal thought leadership. 
  • Details & Quality: driving results and turning mistakes into learnings across the evolving scope. 
  • Collaboration: increasingly more facilitation and getting things done with others within and across teams. 
  • Communication: clear written and oral communication to larger and higher stakes audiences. Facilitate communication and decision-making with client-side stakeholders
  • Lean / Agile Principles: evangelize and foster Lean/Agile principles to improve time and drive continuous development.
  • Participate in sprint plannings, generating healthy discussions to arrive at better planning proposals and solutions.
  • Identify areas of improvement, resource constraints and potential risks on the project. Foresees future problems at the design phase and plans to prevent them.
  • Data and Experimentation: help shift client focus from outputs to outcomes and optimize value through rapid build/measure/learn cycles.
  • Implement solutions offered by cloud providers.
  • Help team members and other teams with their expertise. Contribute to troubleshooting, debugging, and pair programming.
  • Write design documents for the system.
  • Follow best coding practices. Improve legacy code and standards.
  • Enforce performance, scalability, and security principles.
  • Participate as a mentor in onboarding of new members, academies or workshops. 
  • Seek mentorship beyond technical issues, client relationships, and career development.
  • Support the company's talent acquisition by assessing engineering candidates.

 

Are You a Fit?

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • 3+ years of Salesforce experience.
  • Salesforce Developer, Administrator or App Builder Certificates
  • Salesforce developer skills, including
    • APEX programming
    • Visualforce
    • SOQL queries
    • Create Custom objects, Reports, Dashboards
    • Create Lightning Processes and Flows
    • Create Lightning Applications
    • App Builder
    • Triggers
    • Lightning Components, including Aura and Web components
    • Validation rules
    • Unit Test classes
  • Exposure to at least one of the following Salesforce Cloud components
    • Sales, CRM, Service, Marketing, B2B, B2C, Community, Marketing, Consumer Goods, Parabolt, Einstein
    • Portals, Chatter, Notifications
  • Well versed with the Salesforce Trailhead self learning platform
  • Background as software developer integrating services with Salesforce
  • Working with Agile and Scrum development methodologies
  • Exposure to various Javascript frontend technologies like React
  • Some Salesforce Administration exposure
  • Understanding of the full Salesforce cloud environment and offerings
  • Einstein Data Analytics
  • Ability to travel to US for short terms
  • Understanding of software engineering in general
  • Must be able to communicate in writing and speaking with clients.
