Job Description

• Work on cutting-edge technologies to help Wix Bookings become an industry leader

• Take responsibility for the design and architecture of your work

• Tackle tough problems and find creative ways to solve them

• Ensuring that code quality, performance, and security standards are met

• Solve complex problems in simple ways using TDD and clean code

• Use CI/CD workflows to release code to production on a daily basis

Qualifications

• A Backend Developer with 3+ years experience building consumer web or mobile products 

• You quickly grasp large, complex systems and their inner workings 

• You’re experienced with software engineering best practices (testing, code reviews, immutability, etc.) and are aware of bad practices and anti-patterns

• You’re comfortable using a variety of tools, libraries, and frameworks and feel at home in a distributed cloud-based system

• You write code that’s simple to read, understand and maintain, and you know how to debug and investigate production issues  

• You recognize bad code and continuously search for better solutions

• You’re a passionate team player who can reason and communicate your opinions, as well as accept other people’s approaches
