Location and Flexibility

This is a hybrid role. This model requires the ability to work on-site from our São Paulo - SP or Porto Alegre - RS office throughout the week based on team needs, while still providing the flexibility to work remotely on other days. Our WFN culture is designed to foster in-person innovation, collaboration, and connection with team members local and visiting from other global offices.

The Opportunity

Poatek seeks a back end Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. As an Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing robust, scalable, and innovative software solutions. You will work closely with clients and cross-functional teams to lead technical discussions, provide guidance, and deliver high-quality code. 

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-performance, secure, and scalable back end stack applications using cutting-edge technologies.
• Collaborate with product managers and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Ensure the quality and reliability of the software through effective testing methodologies, including unit testing and automated testing platforms.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, frameworks, and methodologies to identify opportunities for improvement and implement them as needed.
• Contribute to the growth of the engineering team by actively participating in the hiring process, conducting interviews, and providing valuable input.

Qualifications

Experience in:

• Back end web development, including C#, .NET.
• API and data exchange: Swagger, Restful API, JSON, OAuth2.0 (Auth0)
• Databases: Relational Database (SqlServer), No-SQL (MongoDb)
• Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes
• Other: Knowledge of one or more technology stacks (e.g., Node.js, .NET Core, Azure Cloud), solid understanding of OOP principles, and architectural patterns (such as Event-driven, Microservices, and Domain-Driven Design)
• Extensive Kubernetes and Azure DevOps experience
• Experience with Disaster Recovery is also helpful
• Specific Azure areas of expertise: App Services, AKS, Azure Storage, Azure KeyVaults, and Azure Pipelines
