We’re looking for a Frontend developer to work on internal tooling which is used to manage different aspects of the Whisk system, e.g. food database, content moderation, inventory loading, etc. The code base of the product feeds 3 different programs: web application (SPA), Chrome extension and Firebase functions.

What you are going to do:

• Communicate with a PM, 2 FE and several BE developers using Zoom, Slack, Figma, Notion and ClickUp
• Refactor and develop React components using the latest JS and CSS specifications
• Write business logic using functional programming methodology
• Deliver results of your work in a mono-repository (we use GitHub)
• Improve development experience and enjoy your work :-)

Requirements:

• You work confidently with React (no less than 3 years of experience) and clearly understand how effectively use hooks and memo
• You are experienced in CSS in JS, Flexbox and CSS Grids
• You know how to write clear modular code in TypeScript using ECMAScript 2017 specification
• It would be great if you know the fundamentals of functional programming, if not we will teach you
• You are brilliant if you have hands-on experience with the fp-ts library and its ecosystem
• Working proficiency in English
• It is fantastic if you are fluent with the RxJS library
• Experience or interest to learn functional programming
