Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible in Head-Disk-Interface Integration related work for product improvement (yield/quality/test time).

• Support Tribology improvement activity in Sustaining product
• Engage in early HAMR products ramp up to expedite improvement activities related to Tribology
• Perform Failure Analysis results and provide feedback to relevant team
• Working with FJ HDI Dev/CMI/CESC/SQE/Head/Media to improve cleanliness in the product
• Working with Head/ Media team to improve their process for Yield/Quality/Cost/Supply
• Support Head & Media EC qualification

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Material, Mechanical, Electronics Engineering or related field.
• Knowledge in programming for data analytics (Python, C++, SQL)

PREFERRED:

• Knowledge of HDD Failure analysis, Quality (Reliability), HDD Components, HDD Process & Technology, Quality Management

SKILLS:

• Able to communicate in English and collaboration work with a global team.
• Analytic skills with basic tools (Excel, JMP, Minitab)
• Problem-solving, Creative, Flexible, Initiative, Leadership skills, Positive Thinking
