About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Process Engineer in Commercial and Corporate & Investment Banking Audit, providing coverage for Middle Market Banking, Commercial Capital, Investment Banking, Sales and Trading, Commercial Real Estate, International, and Control Executive. This position is subject to FINRA Background Screening Requirements, including successful completion and clearing of a background check. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and are required to report certain incidents. 

This position is located at our Charlotte, NC office and offers a hybrid work schedule. 

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and lead redesign initiatives that encompass analyses and future state redesigns
  • Manage assigned complex initiatives involving multiple business process segments to identify risks
  • Complete and lead integrated process analyses, identifying procedural and control deficiencies, opportunities, and recommending solutions
  • Consult with team to understand, influence, adapt research, and create alternatives for consideration, drive results, and bring issues to resolution
  • Make decisions and resolve issues to meet business objectives
  • Interpret policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Interact with internal customers
  • Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements

Required Qualifications, US:

  • 4+ years of Process Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and understanding of Business Process Management Notation (BPMN) and process mapping tools such as iGrafx
  • LEAN/Six Sigma certification or Wells Fargo equivalent
  • Knowledge and understanding of Statistical Analysis and applicable software such as Minitab
  • Virtual leadership experience with ability to effectively drive results, provide feedback, direction, and manage and build relationships with leaders and team members
  • Strong leadership skills and experience including the ability to coach, manage, and lead professionals
  • Ability to work effectively with senior management and leaders
  • Demonstrated capability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently, and recognize the significance of competing priorities
  • Adaptable and progressive learner with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a simple manner to a variety of audiences
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to deliver relevant information to business partners and senior leaders that persuades, educates and enhances understanding
  • Client service focus with the ability to listen, read complex customer situations and adapt as needed

Charlotte, NC:  $84,000 - $149,400
