About the Role
Wells Fargo is looking for Principal Engineer.
Required qualifications:
Act as an advisor to leadership to develop or influence applications, network, information security, database, operating systems, or web technologies for highly complex business and technical needs across multiple groups.
Lead the design, architecture, and development of virtual assistant solutions, ensuring they align with the company's strategic goals and user experience objectives.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, data scientists, to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Provide vision, direction, and expertise to leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions.
Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and new technologies and recommends innovations that enhance operations or provide a competitive advantage to the organization.
Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across the enterprise and serve as an expert advisor to leadership.
Drive technical innovation and stay abreast of emerging trends in virtual assistant technologies, NLP, and AI to enhance the product's capabilities and maintain a competitive edge.
Mentor and guide a team of talented engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and high-quality deliverables.
Conduct code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and enforce coding standards to ensure the highest level of software craftsmanship.
Oversee the deployment and monitoring of virtual assistant systems, optimizing performance, reliability, and scalability.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand user feedback and iterate on product enhancements, ensuring the virtual assistant delivers an exceptional user / partner experience.
Should have strong hands-on development skills onto Java / JEE technologies.
Must have strong analytical skills and be able to successfully multitask in a result driven environment.
Should have strong interpersonal skills to work with different stake holders in SDLC ensure high quality results.
Work with US and India teams closely on the business requirement / initiative / POC.
Analyze business needs as they relate to client business objectives and creation of lean processes; contribute towards development efforts on ECM FileNet platform.
Provide technical expertise to support team during incident/problem resolution.
Develop expertise and skills at WFI for effectively handling problem tickets - technical component analysis, environment, infrastructure etc.
Monitor Production Applications Logs using Splunk and AppDynamics
Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor's / master’s degree in computer science or equivalent
Primary Skills - Java, Spring, Microservices design/development, APIs, Kafka, JMS, JPA, JUnit/TestNG, PCF, FileNet, Oracle etc.
Strong hands-on experience on Distributed Systems web development across Java/JEE, Webservices (SOAP / REST)
Strong hands-on experience on Cloud Development, Microservices, CI/CD
Experience with doing POC/POT with new technologies and assist with broader adoption.
Experienced with designing solutions for both functional and non-functional requirements.
High level of competency in software design and software engineering implementation.
Well Versed with common design patterns
Exposure to ECM and BPM domains
Experience developing software that interacts with Oracle and other databases.
Proven ability to effectively deliver results as required.
Strong oral and written communications skills
Ability to operate independently under strict timelines.
High level of cultural awareness
Ability to train system users.
Desired Qualifications
• Experience of working across one or more geographic territories or regions
Experience working with Kubernetes development, design, and deployment.
Full stack development
Knowledge on Web development with Angular / React/ Vue.
