Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Execution Director as part of Consumer, Small and Business Banking. This Branch Network Staffing Leader will interface with the bank’s executive management team to ensure the branch workforce is optimized to maximize growth and the customer experience, maintain efficiency, and execute on strategic initiatives. This individual will lead a team responsible for developing and executing staffing strategies and implementing standard processes driven by strong data analytics. In this role, you will:
Provide strategy, vision and direction related to the branch network staffing model and execution. Owner of the Staffing RAU
Function as a senior advisor to Branch Banking Senior Executive on all things related to branch staffing
Manage and maintain the staffing model activities, standards, and parameters, ensuring alignment to the bank’s current operating environment and strategy
Monitor, analyze and evaluate staffing model effectiveness working closely with the bank’s management teams to ensure the model is in line with the current branch operating environment, business initiatives, and hiring practices
Use advanced knowledge to make highly complex judgements with a noticeable impact on functional results
Partner with Analytics team to ensure workforce optimization
Consult CSBB Finance team throughout the year to review FTE staffing targets
Act as liaison to regions to ensure region target, reports, and tools are appropriate and consistent with enterprise priorities
Anticipate factors that could influence branch staffing and make timely recommendations as appropriate
Own the end-to-end process of staffing the branches from strategy to overseeing the model to the processes that ensure effective execution
Develop, execute, and maintain staffing models and strategies to meet business objectives including rural branches, standard hours, part time/full time mix, and Saturday hours
Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvements to meet business objectives
Identify trends including root cause; review complaints, NPS, and Loudspeaker feedback to proactively identify issues impacting workforce management. Escalate to Branch Senior Executive as appropriate
Monitor branch activity and feedback; incorporate findings into the staffing strategy to optimize effectiveness
Streamline and optimize existing reporting and KPI’s to ensure alignment with strategy and business objectives
Partner with Finance team to ensure field leaders have comprehensive data to conduct effective Workforce Planning discussions
Proactively recommend enhancements to staffing strategy and execution to drive an optimal customer and employee experience
Communicate, educate and influence executives on complex concepts with clarity and guide them on interpreting and applying workforce recommendations across the branch network
Partner with readiness team to create and deliver training as appropriate.
Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and in support of CSBB strategy
Required Qualifications, US:
8+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, including Management experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
4+ years of management experience

Strong focus on managing risk and compliance and expertise in compliance/regulatory requirements
Demonstrated ability to manage effectively in a heavily matrixed organization with a high degree of initiative and strong ability to meet key responsibilities with limited direction and oversight
Proven success recruiting, inspiring, developing, coaching and motivating team members through balanced leadership with a focus on team member engagement and retention and performance management
Ability to communicate powerfully and prolifically to senior and executive leaders and simplify the complex
Ability to influence without direct authority, create and manage (while achieving results) large-scale change and influence people at all levels of the organization
10+ year banking experience with deep understanding of key functions in a retail bank
Demonstrated experience developing and executing retail banking staffing strategies
