In this role you will be building out of strategic cloud compliant platforms to support various strategic business initiatives. This role requires very strong technical knowledge of Java and a solid foundation of server design methodologies. Successful applicant will help enhance, build, and deliver frameworks and business application micro services.  

In this role, you will:

• Lead complex initiatives on selected domains
• Ensure systems are monitored to increase operational efficiency and managed to mitigate risk
• Define opportunities to maximize resource utilization and improve processes while reducing cost
• Lead, design, develop, test and implement applications and system components, tools and utilities, models, simulation, and analytics to manage complex business functions using sophisticated technologies
• Resolve coding, testing and escalated platform issues of a technically challenging nature
• Lead team to ensure compliance and risk management requirements for supported area are met and work with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives
• Mentor less experienced software engineers
• Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including managers
• Lead team to achieve objectives
• Partner with production support and platform engineering teams effectively

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
• 3+ years of Object Oriented Analysis (OOA) and Object Oriented Design (OOD) experience
• 3+ years Java development experience
• 2+ years of relational database or NoSQL database experience
• 2+ years of experience in derivative analytics
• 2+ years of experience in highly scalable, performant and robust risk platforms
• 1+ years of experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile tools such as JIRA, GitHub, Jenkins, Confluence etc.

Desired Qualifications:

• 4+ years of DevOps tool set based continuous incremental delivery experience
• 2+ years working with Kubernetes like container technology
• 2+ years of experience with public Cloud technology such as Azure or GCP
• 2+ years of experience with Cloud based open source Distributed Caching technology
• 2+ years of experience with Apache Kafka or Confluent Enterprise

Pay Range

$138,500.00 - $287,600.00
