Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Commercial Relationship Manager in Middle Market Banking as part of the South Florida Emerging Middle Market Banking Team. Learn more about the career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com


In this role, you will:

  • Develop and maintain client relationships for credit products
  • Ensure overall growth opportunities for customers and understand their business, goals and strategies
  • Participate in the completion of major transactions
  • Originate, structure and execute transactions related to investment banking, commercial lending, treasury management and other credit related products
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development
  • Perform effective financial analysis and underwriting in the areas of credit, cash flow and collateral
  • Make decisions and resolve issues to meet business objectives
  • Interpret policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including more experienced managers
  • Lead team to achieve objectives
  • Partner with existing customers in order to fully understand their businesses, goals, strategies and challenges

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Commercial Banking Relationship Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Established network in the local market 
  • Commercial Lending relationship management experience
  • Experience with Complex Credit 
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of commercial or specialty group: lending, loan servicing, products, and credit practices 
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of negotiating: interest rates, price, terms, and collateral requirements 
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of risk management 
  • Experience consistently delivering strong sales performance 
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills 
  • Strong organizational, multi tasking, and prioritizing skills 
  • Partners effectively with various lines of business

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
