Director, Provider Network Development & Contracting

Through the PACE program, our Health Plan Services team is ensuring our seniors receive top quality clinical care so that they can age well and live independently in their communities. Our Director, Network Development & Contracting will provide leadership, vision, and oversight to ensure a robust network of value-based providers in our existing and future markets to best serve our participants’ intricate care needs.

This is a remote position with up to 30% travel. 

Essential Job Duties:

· Regularly assess and meet participant needs for provider contracts across PACE programs in WelbeHealth and help build specialty-based provider network in New York, New Jersey, and California

· Serve as subject matter expert in negotiating optimal rates within Medi-Cal/Medicare and value-based environments across varying methodologies (specialties, hospitals, ancillaries, skilled nursing facilities, nonstandard PACE providers)

· Build and better internal cross-functional processes across Health Plan Services to ensure successful post-contract implementation

· Establish transformative relationships with contracted partners, ensuring partner satisfaction and mission alignment

Job Requirements:

· Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in contract negotiation, managed care, healthcare administration with at least three (3) years of direct experience in contracting required

· Two (2) years of supervisory experience with demonstrated aptitude to mentor and develop team members

· Knowledge of how to assess and oversee contracting across varying regulatory environments and requirements

· Bachelor’s degree preferred, or additional four (4) years of experience in lieu of education

Salary/Wage base range for this role is $159,939.07 to $180,000.00 annually + Bonus + Equity. WelbeHealth offers competitive total rewards package that includes, 401k match, healthcare coverage and a broad range of other benefits.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other qualifications.
