Sr. Specialist Application Engineer

ABOUT THIS POSITION

We are looking for a Sr. Specialist Application Engineer who will be responsible for developing, designing, and maintaining cutting-edge generative AI-based systems that will augment many of our product offerings. Additionally, you will participate in a wide variety of Natural Language Processing activities such as optimizing prompts to improve the outcome of Large Language Models (LLMs) and performing code and design reviews.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• Required Qualifications: 

  •    Proven experience to translate insights into business recommendations 

  •    6+ years of professional experience 

  •    2+ years of experience programming in languages such as Perl, Python, R, PHP, and shell scripts 

  •    1+ years of experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Large Language Models (LLM) 

  •    1+ years of experience building and maintaining scalable API solutions  

• Preferred Qualifications: 

  ·       In depth understanding of AI protocols and standards 

  ·       Can code in one or more general purpose programming languages; C# and .NET programming languages are preferred 

  •    Understanding of technology risks and the ability to assess and mitigate them 

  •    Experience with debugging and troubleshooting software or solutions design issues 

  •    Proven ability to stay current with best practices and new technology solutions in the field 

  •    Ability to display both breadth and depth of knowledge regarding functional and technical issues 

  •    Experience presenting to clients or other decision makers to present and sell ideas to various audiences (technical and non-technical)
