Position Summary...

What you'll do...

As a member of the Supply Chain Infrastructure Automation Engineering (SIAE) group, you’ll be responsible for leading a group of software engineers in implementing, testing, and deploying code change required for special business requirements. You’ll interact with Walmart engineering teams across geographies to leverage expertise and contribute to the tech community, engage with Product Management and Business to drive the agenda, and set your priorities and deliver awesome products. As a member of the team, you’ll be able to say that you work for the world’s largest retailer and contribute to the development of best-in-class methodologies that impact perception and drastically changed business as we know it.

Sam's Club is our membership warehouse club, a business model that provides our members with high-quality products at prices that are unrivaled by traditional retail. Sam's Club provides a carefully curated assortment of items, as well as developing and leading technologies and services such as Scan & Go, Club Pickup, and home delivery service in select markets. Sam's Club also provides travel, auto purchasing, pharmacy, optical, hearing aid centers, tire and battery centers, and a portfolio of business operations support services.

What you'll do:

• Provide strategic guidance and hands-on support in the development of best practices, architectural designs, and technology solutions.
• Lead and mentor teams in the implementation of complex systems, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the continuous improvement of our technology stack and processes.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and resilient systems that meet business goals and member needs.
• Participate in design, architectural discussions, and troubleshooting sessions to ensure the highest standards of development.
• Lead the end-to-end integration of Sams WMS with vendor automation solutions for Sam's Supply Chain Fulfillment Centers.

What you'll bring:

• Strong engineering leadership expertise in medium to large size company.
• Proven experience in hiring and mentoring world-class engineering teams.
• Leading largescale systems in fast-paced environments,
• Expertise in full stack technologies (Java, Node.js, React, NoSQL/SQL etc.)
• Experience in one or more public cloud technologies like GCP, Azure, etc.
• Experience in working in large teams using CI/CD and agile methodologies.
• Being an admired subject matter expert in one or multiple technology areas 
•  Leading and reviewing architectural artifacts (for example, proof of concepts, prototypes, architectural design) and providing valuable recommendations for improvements.
• Advising or conducting POCs to vet out new technologies 
• Driving for Architecture, Engineering, and Technology excellence 
• Prioritizing, focusing, and delivering tangible results. 
• Delivering with agility, urgency, and quality

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00

Minimum Qualifications...
