Position Summary...

Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and building commitment for perspectives and rationales. Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities. Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by incorporating these into the development and implementation of business plans; using the Open Door Policy; and demonstrating and assisting others with how to apply these in executing business processes and practices.

About Team: 

Enterprise Business Services is invested in building a compact, robust organization that includes service operations and technology solutions for Finance, People & Associate Digital Experience. Team is looking for Software Engineer III who can implement next generation Walmart suite of products keeping scalability, robustness and security aspects in focus. Provide support in building cloud-based applications and products to cater with various data requirements for internal and external stakeholders.

As a part of Enterprise Business Services within Walmart Global Tech India @ Bengaluru, who could work on building solutions for various business functions across multiple markets, your design and solution will have a significant impact on day-to-day running of Walmart. You will be challenged with unparalleled complex business problems that spans across multiple countries, large number of users and data.

What you'll do:

• Architect, Design, build, test and deploy intuitive software that meets and exceeds the needs of the customer and the company.
• Interact with Walmart engineering teams across geographies to leverage expertise and contribute to the tech community.
• Engage with Product Management and Business to drive the agenda, set your priorities and deliver awesome product features to keep platform ahead of market scenarios.
• Deploy and monitor products on Cloud platforms.
• Develop and implement best-in-class monitoring processes to enable data applications meet SLAs.
• You will show your skills in analysing and testing programs/products before formal launch to ensure flawless performance.
• Troubleshooting coding problems quickly and efficiently will offer you a chance to grow your skills in a high-pace, high-impact environment.
• Software security is of prime importance and by developing programs that monitor sharing of private information, you will be able to add tremendous credibility to your work.
• Adhere to Company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.

What you'll bring:

• Hands-on experience to implement solutions using Java Script (React Native, React JS & Node JS)
• Experience in React Native, Android or iOS Native.
• Develop web/mobile applications using HTML, CSS, Java Script, TypeScript, React,
• In-depth knowledge in Javascript including ES6+ and Typescript.
• Experience developing REST and GraphQL APIs with NodeJS and integrations with third party solutions.
• Working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database technologies
• Experience with TDD and writing robust Unit Test cases.
• Exposure to CICD tools, including Git, Maven, Jenkins, Azure
• DevOps, App Store deployments
• Hands-on development to prototype technical solutions.
• Knowledge of any cloud platform solutions (Azure, GCP)
• Aware of Agile (Scrum) methodologies
• Willing to adapt and learn new/emerging technologies.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
