Position Summary...

Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and building commitment for perspectives and rationales. Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities. Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by incorporating these into the development and implementation of business plans; using the Open Door Policy; and demonstrating and assisting others with how to apply these in executing business processes and practices.

What you'll do...

About Team:

As a part of Contact Center tech team in India that works on building solutions various business functions for multiple Walmart markets, your design and solution will have a significant impact on day-to-day running of Walmart. You will be challenged with unparalleled complex business problems that spans across multiple countries, large number of users and data. 

What you'll do:

  • Oracle SBC Management and Optimization: Take a lead role in the ongoing management and optimization of Oracle SBC systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and meet evolving business demands.
  • Design and Implement System Enhancements: Contribute to the design and implementation of enhancements and upgrades to the Oracle SBC infrastructure, aligning with best practices and business objectives.
  • Oracle SBC Integration: Facilitate and support the integration of Oracle SBC with various cloud communication platforms, enhancing system capabilities and user experience.
  • Conduct Testing and Troubleshooting: Engage in rigorous testing, including Load and Regression Testing, to ensure system reliability; actively troubleshoot and resolve Oracle SBC-related issues.
  • Execute Incident, Change, and Event Management Procedures: Implement established procedures effectively in various operational scenarios.
  • Proactive System Monitoring: Employ advanced monitoring tools to proactively oversee the Oracle SBC environment, identifying and addressing potential issues swiftly.
  • Collaborative Problem Solving: Work closely with senior engineers and other team members to tackle complex technical challenges associated with Oracle SBC and related systems.

What you'll bring:

  • Solid Oracle SBC Experience: Proven experience in managing, configuring, and troubleshooting Oracle SBC systems in a complex environment.
  • Understanding of Telephony and VoIP Protocols: Strong grasp of SIP, TCP/IP, H323, QoS, and their applications in Oracle SBC environments.
  • System Monitoring and Analytical Skills: Competence in using monitoring tools specific to Oracle SBC and the ability to analyze system performance effectively.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Adaptability and Continuous Learning: A commitment to keeping abreast of the latest developments in Oracle SBC technologies and adapting to new challenges and solutions in the field.

Minimum Qualifications...

Minimum Qualifications:Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, information technology, or related area and 3 years’experience in technology infrastructure engineering across areas such as compute, storage, network, mobility or virtualization-related technologies.
Option 2: 5 years’ experience in technology infrastructure engineering across areas such as compute, storage, network, mobility or virtualization relatedtechnologies.

Preferred Qualifications...

Master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, information technology, or related area. and 1 Year of relevant experience in configuration management, developing automation for Provisioning and Orchestration, experience developing and managing service-level objectives (SLOs)/service level indicators (SLIs) for Infrastructure Service availability and performance.
