Position Summary...

Walmart Fulfillment Team is responsible for building data driven highly optimized supply chain suite of products to manage entire gamut of supply chain lifecycle for our retail and ecommerce lines of business. With our rapidly increasing footfalls in stores and exponential growth in online orders; this all has to be done to scale millions of owned and marketplace SKU’s complete inbound and outbound fulfilment lifecycles. How we achieve this, comes down to the team of smartest technologists  focused on the entire suite of supply chain management products for the Walmart Supply Chain at a massive scale. From forecasting ; replenishing inventory for millions of items worth billions of dollars, sourcing of millions of orders, to route optimization and; last mile delivery to Warehouse Management Systems to most advanced grocery; order management systems; technology is the backbone behind the entire platform enabling the massive cloud-scale supply chain.

What you will do:

We are looking for experienced Senior UI developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of JavaScript frameworks - ReactJS, NodeJS, Mobile app development frameworks (Android Native , React Native), HTML/CSS and SQL queries. 

They will also have experience with Cloud, Microservice Architecture and related stacks (Service Registry, ELK / Splunk, Microservices, VMs, etc.) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.). In addition, the Senior UI developer will be responsible for mentoring and training junior developers, as well as designing and leading the development of new features.

Responsibilities:

• Design and lead the development of new features

• Design, Develop and maintain UI Front end systems

• Work with backend developers to integrate the front-end and back-end systems

• Troubleshoot and debug ReactJS, NodeJS applications, Mobile applications (Android Native , React Native)

• Work with other team leads, architects, developers and engineers to design and implement new features

• Stay up-to-date on the latest living designs, UI frameworks and UI technologies

• Mentor and train junior developers

• You will also be required to seek ways to improve the software and its effectiveness.

• Adhere to Company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity

What you will bring:

• 5+ years of experience in Javascript frameworks development – ReactJs and NodeJs, Mobile applications (Android Native , React Native), HTML/CSS and SQL queries

• 3+ years of experience in designing and leading on technical aspects

• Experience with ReactJS, NodeJS, Mobile application development (Android Native, React Native) and other Javascript and Typescript frameworks

• Experience with relational databases

• Experience with Cloud, Microservice Architecture and related stacks (Service Registry, ELK / Splunk, Microservices, VMs, etc.) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to mentor and train junior developers

• A continuous drive to explore, improve, enhance, automate and optimize systems and tools.
