(IND) Software Engineer III

Position Summary...

What you'll do...

Enterprise Business Services is invested in building a compact, robust organization that includes service operations and technology solutions for Finance, People, Associate Digital Experience Walmart Global Tech India is focused on deploying Enterprise solutions across all our global business markets. The team delivers solutions across various domains like Finance, People, Real Estate, Indirect Spend Management, Manufacturing and Retail.The charter for the Global Business Services team is to deliver on the goal of Everyday Low Cost (EDLC) by driving efficiency in all the back-office processes, through technology. Combining Technologists with Business Analysts and data experts, we build and deploy solutions that support billions of transactions every month.

What will you do:

You will be part of a global engineering team set up that caters to several businesses across the globe at Walmart. The team leverages/implements standard modules as well as builds custom developments that integrate with several systems meant for People related solutions. Your code / solutions could potentially enable millions of users achieve efficiency in their day-to-day processes and thus enable massive cost savings for Walmart. As a part of the team that works on SAP implementations for multiple Walmart markets you will have a significant impact on Walmart’s Global Business Services. You will partner with Walmart engineering teams across geographies to leverage expertise and deliver successfully across projects.

Your Responsibility shall include

• Drive design, development, implementation and documentation of solutions using SAP ABAP skillset.
• Work with Functional team to gather business requirements and provide technical solutions which meet Walmart's Architecture and global standards. The deliverables will be in terms of RICEFW, UI/WF development, custom programs, interface with SAP/Non SAP systems. The development should cover performance mgmt, lifecycle upgrades etc.
• Extensively Work on POCs and demonstrate to business.
• Contribute to the success of the implementation by applying SAP technical skills, to design and deploy enhanced processes and technical solutions in support of strategic initiatives.
• Lead the technical team (FTE, Contractors) and follow established practices for the delivery and provide reporting on the development and meet standards of solutions meeting QCD (Quality, Cost & Delivery). Ensure the deliverables are on time and with zero defects.
• Work with Engineering Managers on product innovations using ABAP stack and other open stack technologies.
• Drive and fuel innovation within the team, build hacks, work on patents.
• Learn on the go and work on both new requests/projects as well as support
• production based on priority.

Your qualifications shall include

• MBA or equivalent post graduation with Finance specialization or any other relevant qualification.
• 3-8 yrs of overall experience.
• Experience in SAP technologies like ABAP with OO concepts, Web Dynpro ABAP, Reports, Module Pool, Enhancements, Workflow, ALE IDocs, SAP S4 and FIORI applications . Should have experience in Integration technologies (OData Services, SOAP/Proxy, IDOC, File Transfers ).
• Preferred skills BRF, PI, Gateway, UI5, S4 HANA
• Desirable to have experience open stack technologies such as Angular, Java,
• Experience in Leading the Technical team with a strong communication skill
• Experience in Stake holder management on large/small projects.
• Experience in delivering the deliverables with Agile methodology is required
• Drive design, development, implementation and documentation of solutions in SAP domain. 
• ABAP OOP’s , SAP NetWeaver Gateway ODATA and SAP Enhancement Framework 
• Building integrations between SAP/Non SAP products and other SAP/Open stack products. 
• Has Experience in Integration Involving PI System, SPROXY Services. Should haves worked on Inbound & outbound Interface. 
• Extensively Work on POCs to adopt the right solution for business. 
• Contribute to the success of the implementation by applying SAP technical skills, to design and deploy enhanced processes and technical solutions in support of strategic initiatives. 
• Coordinate with functional team to understand the requirement and design effective solutions. 
• Work closely with the technical team and follow established practices for the delivery of solutions meeting QCD (Quality, Cost & Delivery). 
• Drive and fuel innovation within the team, build hacks, work on patents.  
• Hands-on experience in handling 2 or more SAP implementations.
