Job Description

• Design, build/configure data replication schemas between HP NonStop mainframes and multiple open system (MS SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, and Couchbase) database instances.

• Lead planning, analysis, design, implementation, maintenance, and control of the organization's data replication between unlike and like database products, using both unidirectional and bidirectional replication leveraging multiple features within the Oracle Golden Gate product suite.

• Design, build/configure data replication schemas between HP NonStop mainframes and multiple open system (MS SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, and Couchbase) database instances.

• Lead planning, analysis, design, implementation, maintenance, and control of the organization's data replication between unlike and like database products, using both unidirectional and bidirectional replication leveraging multiple features within the Oracle Golden Gate product suite.

• Assist with improvements to systems and tools and support development and implementation of new automation, asking questions as necessary.

• Engage with team members and manager during code/design reviews, participate in on-call rotations and incident responses throughout product development and operations cycles.

• Leverage working knowledge of systems/platforms and telemetry analyses to identify basic issues in code, processes, and designs when they are inconsistent with customer/business objectives.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
2+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelors degree, OR 5+ years of relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications
3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
Solid understanding of Oracle GoldenGate fundamentals including knowledge in database replication technologies and strong architectural/engineering skills to design systems that meet various applications High Availability and Disaster Recovery requirements.
Knowledge of and ability to develop back-end (C, TAL) code in the HP NonStop environment.
Knowledge of and the ability to use database software (e.g. MS SQL and Enscribe on the HP NonStop ) to maintain, modify, and output data.
Knowledge of systems integration process in which separately produced components or subsystems are combined and problems in their interactions are addressed.
Knowledge of data structures, which consist of data organization, management, and storage formats that enable efficient access and modifications. This includes a collection of data values, the relationships among them, and the functions or operations that can be applied to the data.
Experience collaborating with Product, Test, Dev-ops, and Agile/Scrum & Waterfall teams
Experience with technologies such as Jenkins and Bit Bucket
