Commercial and Money Movement (CMS) division’s charter is to capture new sources of money movement through card and non-card flows, including Visa Commercial Solutions, Government Solutions and Visa Direct which presents an enormous growth opportunity. About Global Commercial Payments Platform – B2B Connect:
Visa's Commercial Payments organization is responsible for managing Visa's B2B Payment Global adoption on Cross-Border funds movement, innovation agenda and the management of strategic partnerships with critical financial institutions. This group is responsible for defining and building the Non-Card based payment innovation and product for Visa Inc. globally. This includes: Distributed-Ledger based cross border payment platform, near time settlement, enterprise ID stamping to create a digital identity for corporate entities, end-to-end payment eco-system and analytics and data visualization

Essential Functions:

• Senior Software Test Engineer will design and implement test solutions with highest quality using agile tools & methodologies
• Extensive hands-on QA, white box testing and automation. No Manual testing
• Support continuous integration processes and system deployments
• Should possess the programing skills to drive test automation
• Work closely with the QE/Developers/Product leads to achieve a high level of Unit & Test coverage
• Plan and conduct User Acceptance Testing with key stakeholders
• Should have an understanding of the Developer world, be able to voice customer perspective
• Experience in working with agile lifecycle and/or tracking and process management tools, e.g. Rally, JIRA

The ideal candidate for this position will have more than 5+ years of experience in testing highly distributed and complex systems, with an ability to think tactically as well as strategically while leading cross functional teams in a highly matrixed environment. A background working in a high transaction online payment environment, developer portals/services or APIs is highly desirable

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• Master's degree in Math, Science, Engineering, or Computer Science, Information Systems or related field. OR
• Bachelor's degree in Math, Science, Engineering, or Computer Science, Information Systems or related field AND minimum two (2) years of experience in a directly related field OR
• Minimum five (5) years of directly related experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
• Hands-on Java, Python and Automation Scripting
• Experience in building framework and executing automated and performance tests for REST based services.
• Hands-on experience working with databases MySQL, Oracle etc.
• Experience testing software at API level using SOA suite, SOAP UI, PostMan, REST Client etc.
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration (CI) tools such as Jenkins or monitoring tools such as Grafana/Splunk.
• Familiarity with Code Quality Governance related tools.
• Hands-on experience with Eclipse or any other IDE development tools.
• Experience with distributed source control systems such as Git.

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 113,700.00 to 160,600.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
