Job Description

CyberSource Corporation, a Visa Inc. company, needs a Lead Technical Program Manager (multiple openings) in Atlanta, GA to

 

  • Drive the planning, technical development, and delivery effort as a program with key milestones identified and manage the day-to-day project plan.
  • Be accountable for managing the endto- end software development life cycle to drive seamless delivery of key initiatives within MAP PD.
  • Translate product vision and technical requirements into feasible technical solutions and define feasible program milestones with both business and technology teams.
  • Responsible for overseeing the completion of requirement definitions, functional and technical specifications, architecture definition, database design, technical implementation, unit and integration testing of systems for product development and delivery.
  • Lead scope, schedule, budget, risks, deployments and communications for programs and initiatives identified for this effort.
  • Ask thoughtful technical and operational questions to help bring the entire program plan together and execute in the most effective way.
  • Work with all functional and technical leads and teams to bring the plan into reality.
  • Resolve technical issues, remove impediments from teams and communicate program status along the way to key stakeholders/leaders in both Product & Technology organization.
  • Facilitate program status meetings, lead and conflict resolution.
  • Develop metrics and reports to help the team understand the program plan and progress and to set goals.
  • Coach team members to understand Scrum and apply the same Agile Principles across program teams.
  • Influence change that increases team performance at a sustainable pace.
  • Ensure clear communication to the stakeholders/leaders and foster collaboration between the different functional teams.
  • Ability to flex between the strategic and the tactical, understanding of the technical design and be able to resolve any technical issues or problems that may arise.
  • Position reports to the Atlanta, GA office and may allow for partial telecommuting.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology Management, Business Administration, Computer Science or related field and 10 years of experience in the job offered or in a Technical Program Manager-related occupation.
  • Position requires experience in the following:
  • Software development life cycle,
  • Engineering operations.
  • Platform components & services.
  • Security Assessments
  • Kanban, SAFe, or XP.
  • Agile project management tool: Rally, Jira, or Version One.

Worksite: Atlanta, GA

 

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

 

Travel Requirements: This position does not require travel.

 

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $139,200.00 USD to $222,800.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
