Role Overview:

As a Product Management Intern at Virta, you'll contribute to ideating and developing delightful and impactful products for our members and customers. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, under the guidance of a Sr. Product Manager to further our mission of enhancing the well-being of our members and advancing our goal of improving metabolic health for all. 

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to and support developing use cases, sizing them for business value, gathering customer feedback and conducting market research to inform product strategy and roadmap 

• Assist in the creation of Product Requirements Documents (PRD). Contribute to the development of product features, user stories, and acceptance criteria

• Support project management activities, including coordinating timelines, resources, and deliverables

• Assist in the development or measurement of OKRs and KPIs: understanding the objectives and key results for the product, identifying data sources and working with data teams to visualize through dashboards 

• Work closely with your product management lead, designers and engineers to ensure successful product development and delivery

Qualifications

• Rising senior currently pursuing a degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a dynamic team environment.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Passion for technology and a desire to learn about the healthcare industry

As part of your duties at Virta, you may come in contact with sensitive patient information that is governed by HIPAA. Throughout your career at Virta, you will be expected to follow Virta's security and privacy procedures to ensure our patients' information remains strictly confidential. Security and privacy training will be provided.

Virta has a location based compensation structure. Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.
