POSITION SUMMARY

View is seeking a driven individual to join the Smart Building Cloud team within our IoT organization. The SBC/SERA team at View works to develop innovative smart building solutions that power the buildings of the future.

As a QA Engineer with the SBC/SERA team, the individual will be tasked with designing and developing system test scenarios and cases for diverse set of network infrastructure and microservice applications for the Smart Building Cloud. The individual will work with multiple engineering teams to coordinate the development of these test scenarios.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Understand, test, and automate key test cases for the software-defined converged infrastructure product
• Work with test leads/development/deployment teams, and product managers to understand use cases and come up with test cases and test scenarios
• Be responsible for automation execution and regression testing on product to ensure quality of solutions which will demonstrate ability to inspect traffic, identify network issues, control, and audit traffic
• Run system tests, performance tests and stress tests

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• 0-2 years of hands-on experience in designing and developing test cases.
• Experience/Interest must include a combination of:
• Testing life cycle and QA activities, build systems, regression testing, test automation
• Scripting with Python and Shell scripts
• Experience User flow testing.

EDUCATION

• Bachelors or master’s degree in computer science or equivalent
