What you’ll be doing...

The Team is involved in Testing several Verizon Consumer products like Identity, Digital Secure, and Fintech Solution. This role involves learning the required skills to Test and Automate the IOS and Android Mobile Applications, AWS Cloud, Network, Backend service, and Tools.

• Deliver notch quality and ensure high reliability of the Mobile Application by reducing time to market. 
• Evaluate the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) to ensure ease of use, intuitive navigation, and overall user satisfaction
• Verify that all feature and functionality of the application works as expected according to the requirements
• Ensure that the Application functions correctly across different devices, Operation systems, screen sizes, and Resolution 
• Assess the application's performance in terms of speed, responsiveness, and stability under various conditions such as different network speeds and device capabilities. 
• Identify and address potential security vulnerabilities such as data breaches, unauthorized access, and encryption issues. 
• Ensure that new updates to the App do not negatively impact existing functionality by doing regression testing
• Verify the app installs correctly, updates smoothly, and retains user data.
• Test the app’s integration with other SDKs, services or APIs to ensure seamless functionality
• Create and maintain Test plan, Test cases for each user story with Negative and Positive scenarios, Schedule internal and external Test plan Review, Raise Defect, Follow up with respective stakeholders to address the issue
• Collaborate with Designers, Developers, Product Managers, DevOps, Support, and vendors to communicate issues, prioritize fixes, and ensure overall alignment with the Project Goal

What we're looking for...

You’ll need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree and/or four years of work experience.
• Four or more years of relevant work experience.
• Expert in IOS and Android App automation using Robot Framework, Python, and Appium
• Experience with Xcode, Android Studio, ADB, and Charles Proxy
• Experience in Python programming and Requests Library for Backend Automation
• Knowledge of cloud technologies - AWS preferred
• Experience with containers and orchestration tools like Docker Kubernetes and EKS.
• Experience working in Jenkins, Git, Jira, Confluence, any test management system, etc.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• Strong organization skills and the ability to work successfully with onshore and cross-functional team
• Should be able to integrate mobile automation suite with Device farm, Browser stack to leverage and trigger on different devices
• Good Understanding and working experience with Linux
• Hands-on experience in bash or some shell scripting.
• Good to have hands-on experience in QA Test Tools like Jmeter, Load Runner, and POSTMAN
• Demonstrated ability to create a positive, growth-oriented team culture, where individual contributors thrive and continuously improve their skills
• Understanding of Wireless networks and IT processes
• Experience in Performance Testing
