What you’ll be doing...

Responsible for leading the delivery of Value Segment brands for Verizon’s Consumer market. This leader will work closely with the AI&D, Business and Marketing teams to deliver end to end solutions for system transformation, driving growth initiatives like product launches, offers and price plans and improving the customer experience. The leader will be responsible for building a highly motivated and talented team, coaching and mentoring them to deliver high quality products and services.

·         Delivering key programs for consumer and business on the Value Segment.

·         Driving the agile transformation for the Verizon Prepaid and driving cross skilling and upskilling of the team to ensure that the organization has the right Chapters and subject matter experts that can support solutions across the organization managing the platform for merchandisable enrichments across all channels.

·         Pricing microservices supporting digital and assisted channels delivering the Omni Channel program successfully, ensuring that programs / projects are delivered on time. Deliver results within budget, time, quality and strategic and tactical key performance goals.

·         Driving technical solutions, Designs, Code Delivery, and Certification of the applications & building agile teams, actively practice Dev / SecOps, and fully automate CICD pipeline.

·         Ensuring that the systems are robust, scalable, reusable, cloud native, and a rotation availability can support major retail days like Apple Device launch, Price Plan launches, Black Friday, etc.

·         Providing leadership and accountability for the above and ensure that complex designs come to closure, minimizing impacts to internal VZW systems and increasing subscriber growth, deliver a great customer experience, and profitability.

·         Partnering with peers on architecture, designs and coding standards, with focused attention on security and infusing and adopting security by design approach.

·         Building a highly motivated and talented team, coaching and mentoring them to deliver high quality products and services; partnering with business units to establish goals, influence and effectively communicate the vision set by Senior Leadership.

·         Building good working relationship with the third-party retail partners defining resource capacity plans for all of the above applications, responsible for management, staffing and operations; make decisions regarding hiring, promotion and disciplinary actions. Coach, train and motivate team to achieve subject matter expertise. Hire and train high-performing digital innovation experts.

·         Reviewing the critical projects and plans on a frequent basis with senior management team & working closely with the infrastructure teams for deployment and monitoring of these apps and recommending, developing, and implementing process improvements. Resolve customer complaints in a timely manner. Derive actionable insights from the voice of the customer.

·         Developing policies and procedures for assigned subfunction(s); tasks are multiple and diverse; work requires interpretation to ensure appropriate application. Exercise independent judgment in methods, techniques & evaluation criteria for obtaining results.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:
 

·         Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

·         Six or more years of relevant work experience.

·         Experience in delivering Microservices architecture, large-scale migration from legacy to directional platforms, Cloud deployment, DevOps delivery model, and CICD automation.

·         Experience in partnering with Business and IT teams at multiple levels to drive alignment and delivery of complex problems.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

·         Experience in handling COTS products.

·         Six or more years of technology leadership experience in technology selection, architecture, and full stack implementation.

·         Six or more years of digital industry experience with a focus on large scale transformation programs.

·         Five or more years of Software Engineering and Development experience, in leading IT teams through Business Analysis, Project Management, and digital technologies.

·         Five or more years of experience in supporting mission critical rotation production systems, lead real-time high stake risk mitigation plan and drive timely decisions.

·         Six or more years of people management experience, including leadership of diverse global teams.

·         Experience in leading senior talent, mentoring and coaching.

·         Ability to identify opportunities, facilitate sessions to ideate and come up with joint cross-functional solutions to improve digital experiences and streamline omni-channel processes.

·         Ability to meet aggressive deadlines, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, customer and team-oriented work environment.

·         Strong presentation skills to communicate effectively.
