The Role
Veeva Link seeks a senior level Automation Engineer who will participate in all aspects of testing new and innovative web applications. You will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and new product development in an established company that is rapidly growing. This is a great opportunity for an engineer looking to expand their well-established career, who is excited about solving complex problems, and ownership, and who enjoys working with technologies like React, Python, Postgres SQL, and AWS.
What You’ll Do
- Test scalable web applications utilizing open-source tools and technologies.
- Use REST and GraphQL APIs.
- Be able to work independently while communicating progress to other members of the team.
- Lead the test planning, automate common test cases, and perform manual testing of new features.
- Identify complex bugs and create detailed bug reports.
- Create a testing suite using AWS synthetic monitoring.
- Automate regression testing utilizing GitHub pipelines.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience with software automation testing.
- 5+ years of experience with a JavaScript automation framework like Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
- Experience with both manual and automated testing.
- Experience working within Unix terminals.
- Basic SQL knowledge.
- Great eye for detail, precise.
- Bold and willing to speak up if something is wrong.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Fluent in English (writing and speaking).
Nice to Have
- Experience with any of the following would be a plus: Python, AWS (or another cloud provider), Elasticsearch, Redis.
- Have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or information systems.
