Inventory Data Analyst - Contract

We are looking for an Inventory Data Analyst who: a) has a background working in a fast-paced environment, b) has a strong background in Excel and data analysis, c) will support and maintain consolidated inventory reporting from VAST Data’s contract manufacturer partners, and d) analyze and support controlling weekly financial and quantity inventory changes.

About the Role:

• This is a contractor (6 months) role that requires the ability to maintain tight control over complex inventory data and reporting. If successful, the contractor term can be extended or converted to full time upon completion of the contract.
• Support the creation of weekly and monthly internal inventory reporting
• Work closely with Planning team to analyze inventory and forecast data for internal reporting
• Analyze the weekly quantity, financial value, and composition changes of inventory
• Collaborate with VAST Data’s contract manufacturer partners to deliver accurate, consistent weekly inventory data and reporting
• Drive accountability with VAST Data’s contract manufacturer partners to maintain lean inventory levels and control liability

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum 5 years analyzing inventory and financial data in a fast-paced work environment
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Acute attention to detail
• Experience in creating inventory reporting from multiple data sources with various formats

Preferred Requirements:

• 10 years or more analyzing inventory and financial data in a fast-paced work environment
