Description
As a Senior Software Engineer, Growth you’ll be responsible for building foundational growth products for onboarding, improving retention, connecting product and GTM systems, billing, pricing and packaging.  You will be mentoring our talented engineering team. Your past experience will be leveraged to enable and accelerate Vanta’s growth.

Our product integrates deeply with the services that present security risk to a company, pulls and analyzes data from those sources, and surfaces potential security threats to our customers in real time with guidance to remediate them.

What you’ll do as a Senior Software Engineer, Growth at Vanta:
  • Work on products and internal systems related to conversion, retention, or expansion of the product
  • Lead both strategic and iterative projects with multiple stakeholders and engineers to deliver significant impact to our business
  • Leverage modern frameworks and tooling (TypeScript, React, Node.js)
  • Work with talented and kind engineers to make a significant impact on our customer base, enabling them to improve their security and prove it
  • Contribute to building Vanta’s engineering culture as we grow
How to be successful in this role:
  • Have at least 5 years of professional experience, and a background in B2B SaaS-specific growth areas such such as Onboarding, Billing, Pricing & Packaging, and Retention
  • Have played technical leadership roles for teams or complex projects in the past
  • Have a proven track record of building 0 to 1 products and features
  • Have previous startup experience, or worked in an environment that prioritizes a bias for action
  • Have an interest in learning about security or prior experience in the space
 
Pay Range: $159,800 - $250,700; If you are offered the position, your offer amount will be based on your experience.

We started Vanta in 2016 as Equifax had lost every American's social security number, Home Depot had leaked its customers' credit card numbers to hackers, and Facebook admitted that it irresponsibly sent user data to third parties who tried to influence the US election. It was clear that security and privacy had become mainstream issues, and that we all increasingly relied on cloud services to store everything from our personal photos to our communications at work.
