Job Title: Senior Engineering Manager (Full-time)
Location: Mumbai/Bangalore

Job description summary:
Manage specification, design, development, code reviews, design review and debugging of scalable and high-performance service-based web applications
Provide leadership and guidance to coach, motivate, and lead team members to their optimum performance levels identify and communicate project scope and ensure release milestones and objectives are met by delivering a high-quality product release
Take accountability for moving the key business metrics within your area and provide thought partnership to the product team to ensure collaboration among product, engineering, and business operation teams
Analyse problems and drive long term technology solutions to evolve the product scalability, performance, reliability and supportability

In your day-to-day role you will:
As a Senior Engineering Manager, you will oversee the entire lifecycle of scalable and high-performance service-based web applications, including specification, design, development, code reviews, and debugging.
You will lead and motivate the team, ensuring optimal performance levels.
You will communicate project scope, meet release milestones, and uphold high-quality product releases.
Take accountability for key business metrics, providing thought partnership to foster collaboration among product, engineering, and business operation teams. Analyze problems and drive long-term technology solutions to enhance product scalability, performance, reliability, and supportability.

What do you need to bring?
Engineering/ Master’s degree in the field of Computer Science or equivalent
Proficient in backend programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, Node.js) and database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
Experience designing and building scalable, high-availability distributed systems.
Strong understanding of microservices architectures, API design, and cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
Must have at least 2 years of experience in leading small and mid-sized development teams
The knack for problem-solving and ability to work in ambiguity Excellent people/leadership skills to grow and guide your team members; a passion for your team's mission and a self-starting personality to make things happen.
Great project management skills to lead and juggle multi-engineer projects and deliver high-quality projects on time.
