Job Title: Software Development Engineer II(React native)

Location: Mumbai or Bangalore

Job description summary:

Designing and building advanced mobile features and custom UI.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Optimizing the app for speed, memory, network and battery.
Keeping the app stable and secure at all times.
Continuously discovering, evaluating, and implementing new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
Unit-testing code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.

You will work closely with the fellow Developers, QAs, Designers, Product Managers, Marketing and Compliance teams on a day-to-day basis.

In your day-to-day role you will:
As a Software Development Engineer II(React native), you will design and construct advanced mobile features and custom UI. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and release new features. You will be required to optimize the app for speed, memory, network, and battery efficiency. Ensure the app's stability and security at all times. Constantly explore, assess, and incorporate new technologies for enhanced development efficiency. Conduct unit tests to ensure code robustness, covering edge cases, usability, and overall reliability.

What do you need to bring?
3+ years of experience in React native Development.
Proficiency in JavaScript.
Bachelors / Masters degree in Computer Science / Engineering or a related subject.
Solid understanding of the full lifecycle of mobile development, testing, publishing and DevOps.
Good knowledge of networks and distributed systems.
Attention to detail (every second, byte and pixel counts). Equal parts left and right brain - focus on the tech and logic as much as you are obsessed with the UX and customer delight.
Capacity to write and maintain clean code.
Multi-tasker, able to smoothly transition between features, bugs, projects and languages.
Expertise in the general mobile landscape, design, trends, and emerging technologies.

Bonus Points:
You have experience in Android app development.
You have developed apps using Kotlin.
You are popular on Stack Overflow for answering challenging questions.
Your GitHub profile showcases a list of original contributions.
