About The Role:

As a Senior DevOps Engineer focusing on enabling our engineering squads, you’ll be tackling meaningful problems and helping ship intuitive and impactful products for our clinicians. What you build will  improve Engineers’ day-to-day functions and will support them in building scalable, secure and reliable services. Partnering with Product, Design and our Clinical teams, you will play a key role in defining architecture and implementing a seamless technology-enabled mental healthcare system. 

Core Areas of Responsibility:

  • Consult, educate and empower engineers as they build & ship innovative software
  • Act as a technical leader in building high-performance, secure, scalable and delightful clinician and client facing applications
  • Research, prototype and develop to maximize the efficiency of our continuous integration pipeline and testing infrastructure
  • Build and integrate new architecture, frameworks and technologies that will help Two Chairs level up our engineering program
  • Develop systems and processes to maximize the efficiency of our continuous integration pipeline and testing infrastructure
  • Enable engineering teams to integrate and deploy code with CICD pipelines in a manner that is secure, reliable and efficient
  • Build innovative products to fundamentally transform the mental health space by combining the best of humans and technology

You'll be successful if you have:

  • Deep engineering experience in GCP or AWS
  • Experience building deployment pipelines (preferably in GitLab)
  • Engineering experience with a track record of architecting and building consumer-facing products from start to finish
  • Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud architectures
  • Deep understanding of automating infrastructure provisioning in Terraform or Pulumi
  • Experience with Python/Django, Javascript, Relational Databases and API architecture
  • Deep understanding of web development concepts and principles with good intuition for product and design
  • Experience building and debugging scalable, high performance web applications built with reusability and componentization in mind
  • Outcome oriented work ethic with passion for building something great 
  • Experience working in an evolving, iterative environment 
  • Ability to identify and prioritize work in a manner that is in alignment with the needs of the organization

Compensation & Benefits

The base compensation for this role is targeted between $150,000  and $180,000 per year.
