Who are we?

TrustLayer is a venture-backed B2B SaaS company that reduces friction and builds trust between businesses. We allow users to automate the verification of insurance, licenses, and compliance docs of their business partners (i.e., vendors, subcontractors, suppliers, borrowers, tenants...).

What is this role?

As a Senior Node Developer for TrustLayer, you will collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to execute on a strategy to develop adjacent product lines and verticals to create a $1B business. You will have a passion for developing client-facing APIs.

Ideally, this role would be filled by a candidate local to the Tampa Bay area and would work a blended schedule of in-office and remote work. However, we are open to considering 100% remote candidates located in the United States.

What does an average day look like?

• Web application development on rapidly growing products
• Creating features and functionality for a disrupter in the insurance/risk space
• Working with a global team of highly skilled designers, engineers, and product experts
• Contributing stellar code that is clean, reusable, and scalable

What background should you have?

• 5+ years of engineering experience building complex software in an agile team.
• Exceptional programming with experience in Node.js, GraphQL, TypeScript, MongoDB, Redis.
• Familiarity with CI/CD systems and testing tools (e.g., Cypress, Jest) and Docker.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with a “can do” attitude.
• Must be able to legally work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be comfortable submitting to a background and reference check.
