Position Summary:

To continue to fuel our growth, we are seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to join as a key contributor to our Document Verification engineering team. Trulioo’s Document Verification engineering team is responsible for developing a distributed cloud platform that supports production API services, big data infrastructure, and processes machine learning. Trulioo utilizes the best available tools, instruments, and practices to create a world-class platform and we are looking for the talent that will help us stay on the cutting edge of technology. This is a full-time position.

 

What you'll be doing:

  • Applying cutting-edge technologies to modern cloud application development
  • Collaborating with UX and Product Management to craft customer-focused solutions and forward-looking product strategy
  • Working with a team of high-performance software engineers to architect, design and deliver new products and user experiences
  • Working closely with senior technical team to keep the technology competitive and up to date
  • Owning a product release from discovery to deployment

 

You have:

  • 5+ years of professional programming experience
  • Proficient in one or more modern programming languages. (e.g. Kotlin, Java, Scala, C#, Javascript, etc.)
  • Firm understanding of REST and gRPC based API’s   
  • Experience with microservice architecture and design patterns 
  • Experience / understanding of Infrastructure as Code, Cloud Native, AWS, and Serverless
  • High technical standards demonstrated using design patterns, clean coding, peer reviews, and unit testing
  • A philosophy of agile software development and experience on handling multiple projects simultaneously
  • Meeting deadlines while effectively managing priorities and communicating progress 
  • A mentor who brings out the best in their team and helps them grow
Pay Transparency
To provide greater transparency to candidates we share the base pay ranges for all US-based job postings. We set standard base pay rates for all roles based on function, level and location, benchmarked against similar stage growth companies. Additionally, Trulioo offers a wide range of benefits to US-based employees including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k program with employer match, education & training reimbursement and parental leave.
 
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $150,000-$190,000 USD for California residents. The listed range is meant to reflect an expected salary range for the position in question based upon market data and other factors, all which are subject to change. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including but not limited to location, skills, depth of work experience and/or relevant licensing/credentials.
