What You Will Do
If you’ve ever used SketchUp, you know it’s special software: 3D modeling that’s easy to learn, intuitive to use, and accessible to everyone.
As a member of the engineering team focused on SketchUp Pro, you’ll be working to both refine and re-imagine how we deliver cutting edge 3D software. You should already have some experience writing scalable desktop applications and have a ‘quality-first’ mindset, and you’re excited to roll up your sleeves for the next big challenge.

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring:
Develop C++ code to extend and improve the SketchUp Pro family of products
BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent experience
Solid foundational C++ knowledge
Interest in developing UIs and working with UX designers
Familiarity with common commercial software development best practices
Strength in Windows, Mac, or cross-platform UI development:
Cross-platform: Qt. Windows: MFC/Win32, Mac: Objective-C/CocoaFamiliarity with common commercial software development best practices
Bonus Skills/Experience:
2+ years of professional experience
Ability to develop UIs with Qt tools
Experience in SAFe / Agile development environment
JavaScript / HTML / CSS experience
Ruby experience
Familiarity with SketchUp and visually creative industries like architecture, interior design, landscape design, or woodworking
About Your Location
Under a flexible work arrangement (Hybrid), this resource supports the SketchUp / Construction Segment. Typically hybrid positions are 3 days per week in the office, typically Tue, Wed, Thur and you can work with your manger to establish the schedule.
