What You Will Do

If you are a motivated engineer and leader who would enjoy helping customers build world-class machine control and guidance systems, we’d like to talk with you. Our Trimble Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) group is looking for an application engineering team leader to join our established and experienced group. You and your team will work with our customer's engineering group to integrate our GNSS and Inertial Navigation System (INS) products into solutions covering a wide variety of applications - autonomy, guidance, mapping, defense, and other exciting applications.

• Team Leadership and Management: Inspire and lead a team of application engineers, setting clear goals and clearing roadblocks so they can stay focused on the task at hand

• Technical Guidance: Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team as they work with customers integrating GNSS and INS hardware.

• Process Improvement: Continuously assess, improve, document, and standardize best practices/ processes and technologies to increase efficiency and quality of work.

• Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with other departments, including product management, development teams, sales, quality, and operations.

• Training: Identify training needs and opportunities for team members.

• Customer Interaction: Interact with customers to gather feedback, understand their needs, and ensure the product meets their expectations.

What Skills & Experience Should You Bring

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience

• 5+ years field experience

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

• Strong knowledge of GNSS and INS positioning

• Familiarity with programming languages

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
