What You'll Bring:

  • 10+ years of experience in public record data acquisition and/or insurance product management roles
  • Proven track record of leading data acquisition and/or data management teams to support data-driven products
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders both internally and externally
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong technical acumen and ability to collaborate with engineering teams
  • Proactively stays current on industry trends & market research to inform product innovation decisions
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
  • Strategic thinker with strong bias for action

Impact You'll Make:

  • Develop data acquisition roadmaps based on research, feasibility and competitive intelligence
  • Coordinate with executive leadership to implement the overall plan and strategy for data collection initiatives
  • Establish and track KPIs and set accurate benchmarks for data acquisition deliverables
  • Propose solutions related to content acquisition, partnering with supervising attorneys, outside counsel and lobbying groups
  • Track key milestones and metrics related to the data on-boarding lifecycle, from point of acquisition, through analysis, transformation and deployment
  • In collaboration with Government Relations, identify and interpret regulatory changes and public policy applicable to acquisition efforts and the broad suite of insurance solutions
  • Provide support and maintain documentation related to data source contracting, licensing and governance
  • Present data sharing proposals to government officials, and serve as the primary liaison between TransUnion and various government agencies for the release of public record data to support the Insurance business
  • Evaluate build vs. buy/partner opportunities related to content acquisition for the Insurance vertical
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to design, develop and execute the Insurance 3 Year Plan and growth strategy, as well as assist in coordinating the annual operating plan
  • Participate in developing thought leadership material for the Insurance division, specifically for the driving solutions suite – from ideation, data design and analysis to presentation

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
