Dynamics of the Role
The Global Collaboration is a hands-on Technical Lead that will manage the engineering team focused on the collaborative suite of services that include Email, SharePoint, One Drive, Teams and DLP services Globally. This individual will lead the Engineering Collaboration Services Portfolio working very closely with both the Architecture and operational Teams. The individual will be responsible for all engineering services and delivery across the domain that will include enablement, strategy, and design.

The Team’s Focus –

• Expert knowledge and hands-on experience delivering business solutions on Microsoft 365: Exchange Online, Exchange Online Protection, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Purview, Entra (Azure Active Directory), Conditional Access
• Strong organizational skills and ability to take on multiple assignments
• Superior verbal and written communication skills
• Lead global team of engineers responsible for configuration, implementation, and migration of M365 and related collaboration services to meet business objectives and strategies
• Maintain a deep technical understanding of all aspects of Microsoft 365 and supporting technologies
• Lead and grow an M365 Team to help create technical solutions, customizations, and integrations to enhance Digital Associate Experience Initiatives
• Maintain currency in end user market trends and participate in industry workgroups as needed to further the M365 collaboration strategy, maintain roadmap currently, and align to best practices
• Identify and implement preventative maintenance and performance optimization solutions to meet operational and information security objectives
• Lead M365 engineering efforts related to M&A integration objectives
• Excellent PowerShell scripting skills
• Troubleshoot complex application issues, owning the 3rd level support function for issue escalation
• Experience with the Power Platform, specifically: PowerApps portal, Power Automate and Apps, and Power BI Reports implementations
• Experience with the Microsoft Security & Compliance suite of applications, specifically: Purview, Defender, Intune, Entra
• Working knowledge of Data Protection strategies and how to implement them within the Microsoft ecosystem
• Experience writing PowerShell scripts for automation, deployment, and validation
• Experience managing Windows Server (on-Prem and Azure)
• Hands-on experience managing network environment (firewall, DNS, F5, etc.)
• Experience managing Azure Subscriptions, IAAS, PAAS
• Experience managing Windows 365
• Experience managing Microsoft Viva suite
• Experience configuring 3rd party telephony carriers for Teams Dial-Pad
• Hands-on experience with Quest and/or BitTitan Migration tools
• Keen understanding of M365 Enterprise license model
• Experience managing Proofpoint (SAAS Email Hygiene Service)
• Microsoft Co-Pilot
• Strong ability to foster collaborative work in dynamic team environment
• Strong management skills to select, develop, mentor, and motivate team members
• Experience in risk management, issue identification, and resolution/problem-solving

How You Will Contribute • Establishing and cultivating business relationships and a professional network, including with senior executives • Provide end-user support for tickets related to M365 and on-premise services as required • Ability to occasionally work or assign work during nights/weekends during critical incidents per on-call rotation or major project implementations • 10+ years leadership and direct supervisory experience of teams including conducting performance appraisals, mentoring and coaching, oversight and review of work, coordination across teams, and understanding how to motivate. • Strong ability to foster collaborative work in dynamic team environment • Strong management skills to select, develop, mentor, and motivate team members • Experience in risk management, issue identification, and resolution/problem-solving Ability to translate and communicate risk and challenges to client personal, including executives
