ABOUT THE TEAM

In Platform Engineering we believe in the power of autonomy and in giving end-to-end ownership to all engineers. To support Platform Engineering’s mission, we —the Cloud Platform team— power up the  infrastructure that serves millions of users of Trade Republic, by providing secure and reliable environments so teams can have access, visibility and tools to help them to deliver cloud native Software.

More specifically, Cloud Platform team enables….

• Access management platforms for role based access controls throughout the systems

• Networking communication between internal and external applications

• Observability tools to empower our engineers to drive actionable insights into system security and performance, improving the quality of the software they deliver

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Design, develop, test, implement, and integrate Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems and solutions
  
  
• Ensure the maintenance and monitor IAM system. Troubleshoot and manage the resolution of issues related identities, systems, access, accounts, authentication, authorization, entitlements, and permissions
  
  
• Determine and recommend the most appropriate response to identify more complex problems, issues and/or defects by assessing impact and prioritization.
  
  
• Design and maintain scalable infrastructure on the Cloud (AWS), leveraging infrastructure as code with Terraform
  
  
• Implement and maintain identity and access management processes, policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standard; collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements that align with business objectives and security standards and relevant regulations.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR

• Solid experience with at least one programming language. We mostly use Kotlin, Java and Python but we are far more interested in your well-roundedness as an engineer rather than knowledge of a certain language, tool or framework

• In-depth knowledge of IAM concepts, protocols, and standards (e.g., OAuth, SAML, LDAP, SCIM).

• Experience with IAM platform and identity providers, such as Okta, Keycloak, Azure AD, Ping Identity, ForgeRock, CyberArk, etc.

• Experience with IAM on AWS via infrastructure as code with Terraform

• Exceptional ownership and drive to create business impact & to empower your colleagues to become better every day

• Strong communication skills and ability to drive ideas & technical implementations to stakeholders from various backgrounds
