Responsibilities
- Design and implement reliable, scalable, robust, and extensible big data systems that support core products and business, and architect internal data warehouse and data lakes to support all business units.
- Build, optimize, and grow Big Data platforms, pipelines, and architectures, including cloud native OLAP engine for PB (petabyte) level data sets.
- Develop database acceleration library to provide reusable, extensible, and high-performance data processing components.
- Optimize and enhance open source data frameworks.
- Create innovative solutions toward system scalability, reliability, and availability problems.
- Use algorithms, data structures, network programming, and multithreaded programming.
- Accelerate open-source big data engines execution.
- Solve unique, large-scale, and highly complex technical problems.
- Mentor junior Software Engineers and interns.Qualifications
Must have a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, Information Systems Management, or a related field, and 2 years of related work experience; OR a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, Information Systems Management, or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor’s, progressive related work experience.

Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience in each of the following:
- Developing docker containers for multiple services and deploying, managing, and monitoring them in Kubernetes cluster;
- Developing CI/CD tools in Python and writing automation Bash Shell scripts;
- Automating and managing the full release lifecycle, including code development, build, testing, validation, and deployment;
- Designing and implementing large-scale, distributed online software services using programming language Java, Go, JavaScript, Ruby, or Python;
- Maintaining and debugging software services; and
- Designing and implementing software service architecture to support high throughput and fault tolerant services.

Type: Full time, 40 hours/week
Location: San Jose, CA
Salary Range: $210662 - $355000 per year
