About the team

The AI Data Service and Eco Operations (ADSEO) team is responsible for the operation of security model training, and iteration under TikTok and other international products, to ensure product security and create a good atmosphere for content creation and community interaction. About the role

As a Translation & Interpretation Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of quality in labeling to enhance AI model accuracy. You will be required to align on labeling standards and guidelines of language features with relevant stakeholders and drive continuous enhancement.

What will I be doing?
- Perform daily transcribing, translation and proofreading tasks for one or multiple projects in your working language.
- Responsible for the operation of labeling projects, negotiating with demanders, and driving the implementation and execution of requirements.
- Deeply understand the implementation of frontline labeling teams to ensure the labeling quality is up to standard and all projects are delivered on-time and within scope.
- Conduct quality management, progress management and risk management by data analysis.
- Proactively collaborate with cross-functional departments for project evaluation, resource coordination and subsequent works.
- Continuously optimize the project process and improve the efficiency of project implementation through combining with business characteristics.
- Work with the Engineering team to align and enhance the labeling guidelines based on the language feature.
- Any other duties as assigned.Minimum qualifications
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin
- English OR Mandarin as First Language is preferred (If not, CEFR C1-C2 level of is required; HSK level 5-6 for Mandarin)
- Education background and/or experience in the Simultaneous Interpretation field
- Excellent communication skills (i.e. oral and written) preferred
- Familiar with office software such as Excel, Word, etc. Data analysis capabilities preferred
- Pay attention to detail and is comfortable using data analysis to identify trends.
- Possess strong learning ability, cross-department communication, and collaboration skills.
- Able to work under minimal supervision and have strong logic/ common sense related to job nature.
- Your ability to work in a high-tempo environment, adapt, and respond to day-to-day challenges of the role.
- Your resilience and commitment to self-care to manage the emotional demands of the role.

Preferred qualifications
- Experience in AI Annotation industry or translation field
- Proven project management experience
